can you create a pull request out of this?

Scott Thursday, January 07, 2016 7:57 PM #

Hey Dhara,

Good job cleaning it up, but we need to organize it a bit more.

Can you make it look closely like this page?

Dhara,

Please review this page too.  It needs some UI updating.

Thanks!

Did you look in RDN.Raspberry > Errors?

Arpit Friday, January 01, 2016 10:13 AM #

The Calendar page has this URL for me - http://localhost:59896/calendar/league/00000000000000000000000000000000

I guess it's not correct..

Scott Sunday, December 13, 2015 8:07 PM #

Thats weird that it doesn't create your calendar.  Click the button and debug the code.  See why it isn't working?

If you have had a calendar before which I think you do, check the Errors log.  There might be a problem...

Raspberry.RDN.Errors.

I need to create an event through RDN.League > Calendar > Create Event.

But currently when I am going to Calendar page, it shows message - "It looks like your calendar has not yet been created. Go ahead and create one so you can start scheduling events and tracking attendance! This calendar will be open to all your members!"

When I click on button "Create Calendar" it do nothing but refresh the page.

how are you doing on this update?

Scott Monday, October 19, 2015 5:23 PM #

Thats interesting.  When creating an event, what is in the URL?

Arpit Monday, October 19, 2015 3:12 AM #

I already have tried adding new event type. But didnt get the newly added event type in it's dropdown.

Scott Sunday, October 18, 2015 11:57 PM #

Add an event type using the button next to event types.  :)

Arpit Sunday, October 18, 2015 12:24 PM #

RDN.League > Calendar > Create Event

In this page I dont see any Event Types in it's dropdown. I checked the database and there is already many types added already.

Scott Saturday, October 17, 2015 9:16 PM #

Gotcha.  To get an event to show up here,

Go to RDN.League > Calendar > Create an event within the next two weeks.  Make sure to check the box as a PUBLIC event.

Restart IIS Express.

Start RDN > Events.

That event should now show up.

Arpit Saturday, October 17, 2015 3:13 PM #

When I click on the event it redirects me to the event page but no data comes on the screen.

No data comes from below method, which get called

public ActionResult EventCalendar(string name, string id)
 {
    var calEvent = SiteCache.GetCalendarEvent(new Guid(id));

Arpit Saturday, October 17, 2015 2:54 PM #

I did it and it now works.. thanks

It seems your missing the nuget packages....

Make sure to install this to RDN

https://www.nuget.org/packages/protobuf-net/2.0.0.666

Arpit Saturday, October 17, 2015 2:39 PM #

On clicking one of the roller derby event, it redirect me to the live link like below, not the localhost link

https://rdnation.com/roller-derby-event/Weekly-Practice/6631131838a846848ab903c94a81e916

If I replace localhost in above link it give some error as below

An exception of type 'System.IO.FileLoadException' occurred in mscorlib.dll but was not handled in user code

Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'protobuf-net, Version=2.0.0.666, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=257b51d87d2e4d67' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

This is not only what we missed. We havn't started the task to redesign the RDN project yet. I think every page is remaining to redesign.
