We need to clone an old poll, to be used again.

  1. Go to Team/League
  2. Go to Polls
  3. Go to Edit a Poll
    1. We need add a new button at the top of this page.
    2. First, we need to consolidate the Delete and Close buttons into one drop down button called "Modify"  http://getbootstrap.com/components/#btn-dropdowns
    3. Then add a new button Under Modify called "Clone"
    4. Upon pressing this button, the user is then brought to a new page /view called ClonePoll
    5. This new page, should have all the information from the poll they just clicked clone on.
      1. Title, Description, Members Of Poll, the Checkbox Settings, Questions and Answers.
        1. The actual votes don't need to be cloned.
        2. The old information should all be editable on this page just like it was on the edit screen.
      2. Upon saving this Clone, a new poll should be created.
        1. Emails should also all be sent to the users just like emails are sent when a NEW poll is created.

clone a poll.

Hi Scott,

I use chrome. I have one word document that I will copy and paste portions of to use for repetitive polls. Tensi said it worked for her if she used the control keys verses right clicking. I haven't tried that yet, but if that works that could be fine. I'll let you know if it doesn't.

Yes, weekly but I edit it to change the dates. And yearly polls that are quite wordy I save so as to copy and paste them in. Does that make sense?

use Chrome.  Can you try testing it for a few different screen sizes?  Tell me if there is any difference.  It might be because of the screen size.

This should not look like this, I have look into the code but everything seems fine, execept that on dev branch on RDN.League/Content/main.css on line 2473 there is an exptra }

that shouldn't be there, but even with that at me is working ( see my pic)  the .link-menu-item should handle the look.

in what browser have you test this?

I am asking because I haven't been able to reproduce this.

review the attachement.  The hovering affect should span the entire drop down.

ok, I have a question on this because I am not really sure if I undestood this correctly "Please make the hover span the entire drop down menu." .

Do you want to open the drop down menu on hover event (not like now on click)

Or do you mean that on hover over the Clone for example the backgroud is changing and it remains some space under it.

Or do you what for the links to be like buttons (to have same colors (static and on hover))?

Couple thoughts.

  1. The Modify Links on the Edit Poll page, when hovering over them, don't look correct.  Please make the hover span the entire drop down menu.

Looks very good otherwise.

Looks good.

  1. Please make the Modify button light blue instead of red.
  2. If I have a poll that has only 6 people and the actual team size is 50 people.
    1. When I clone the 6 person poll, it doesn't show the member of the league.  Just the 6 members.
    2. Please let me be able to select all the members of the league/team.
